September CAS Stencil Challenge

Hi there, blog friends! It's time for the September Challenge at CAS Stencil. Julia is our Hostess and she has chosen Baby Wipes for our technique.

Julia posted a few tutorials for this technique, and I used this one for my card. I started by blending 3 distress inks, then laid a stencil over it, and swiped with a baby wipe. I had to repeat this step a few times to get the effect I wanted, but in retrospect, I would use a larger pattern on my stencil. I used solid floral images and stamped in black to get a strong contrast, then stamped the sentiment on the front panel. Lastly, I used the antique frame and placed it over the focal point.

Grab your baby wipes and come on over and join us at CAS Stencil for another fun challenge...Sarah from Funky Fossil Designs is our Guest Designer ~

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Loving the subtle pattern from the baby wipe Barb, but it's your choice of silhouette and framing that has also really brought your wonderful design together!

Gorgeous blend of colours for your background Barb. The baby wipe through the stencil is subtle, but does make a huge impact on the design. So pretty with the silhouette flower stamped over top. xx
