October Twofer Card Challenge #32

Hi there, blog friends! Before Darnell closes the doors, I'm adding a few cards to her October Twofer Card Challenge, which is one of my all-time favorite challenges...Once I have my supplies out, I enjoy using them to create a 2nd card, and she always has a great prompt :)
Here are the rules:

My first card is for a close family member who is going through a rough time right now.

I stamped the silhouette flowers with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed with clear EP. Lastly, I stenciled the grass, added a sentiment, and mounted the panel on a black card base...and that was it!

I love color blocking so for my 2nd card I used white EP on colored cardstock.

Once I cut the colored cardstock with my paper trimmer, I used my Corner Chomper on the opposite corners of each one. The 'Smile' die-cut is stacked with 3 layers of white cardstock to add dimension.

Here is the photo of both cards for the Twofer Challenge Blog:

I hope you are all safe and doing well! Thanks so much for stopping by,

I can't decide which one I like the best.... well, actually I've decided that I don't have to, because I like them both Barb, such a great design for each card!

Two lovely, lovely cards Barb and I'm loving them both! Your 1st card with the simple black and white theme and pop of green is so eye catching and sure to brighten up the recipients day! And your color blocked card with the white silhouettes is so striking and has me wondering why I never use that technique! Thanks so much for sharing these two beauties with us at The Twofer Challenge!! :0)

One so colorful and one so serene - two wonderful cards, Barb. Look like winners to me!! I immediately think of black when silhouettes are mentioned so using the white on the colorful background is such a great idea! Hope you are doing well.

You always nail the prompt with your two incredible and different design layouts, Barb! These are exquisite with the lovely wildflowers used on a serene card of support and heat-embossed in white on your chomped color block panels! And the stacked smile sediment die-cut is so appropopo for our times! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #32! Keep safe! Hugs, Darnell

What a lovely drift of wildflowers in a meadow, Barb ... so simple and stylish ... and such a warm sentiment! I'm sorry you have someone close having a tough time ... I'm sure this calm, serene scene will lift their spirits wonderfully! Your colour blocking with the white embossed flowers is so vibrant and bright ... a bold, fun and deliciously graphic design! As always, it's a joy to have you playing along with us at Twofer ... thank you! Hugs, Anita :)

Two beautiful and very different designs using your gorgeous wildflowers, Barb! I LOVE the silhouette in black with the lime green grass. Those colours together are fantastic! And lovely sentiment to let your loved one know you are there to help. The colour blocking is so cool. Love the bright and fun colours you've used with the white silhouette flowers. Love both cards Barb! xx
