Let it Snow

Hi there, blog friends! Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS  ~ Ceal is our Hostess, and she is challenging everyone to create a card using the Code Word ‘Snow’. Our Guest Designer is Melanie.

This cutie pie is from a fairly new MFT stamp set called 'Pile on the Hugs'. I colored her with Copic markers and splattered white Gouache for a snowy effect. Behind her is falling snow, made with embossing paste and a stencil. To create the ground, I die cut an oval shadow die and used it as a stencil. Here is a close-up of the snow:

I am also entering this card to the CAS Mix Up Challenge for the prompt: 'Splatters'. My apologies...I am unable to download the badge at this time.

We would love to see how the code word ‘Snow’ inspires you! If you would like to see inspiration from the Design Team and play along with us, come on over and check out the ATCAS Blog ~

Thanks so much for stopping by,

I absolutely love the little figures in this set Barb and this little one looks as if she's having great fun in the snow! Your splatters are perfectly placed and the added paste snow is a lovely touch too. Vicky x

This is adorable, Barb! That's how I feel when it snows but I do it inside now. Too slippery to do it outside! Thanks for the smile!
